These fully adjustable switches feature a magnetic latch for dependable operation. Explosion-proof EX models are also available for hazardous environments.Ideal for engines, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and pumping units, the VS2 Series provides shutdown protection against harmful shock and vibration. The switches can be field-adjusted to match the required sensitivity for each application.Basic Operation:Pressing the reset button moves the tripping latch into a magnetically secured position. When shock or vibration occurs, it displaces the magnet beyond this holding point, releasing the spring-loaded tripping latch to activate the contacts and shut down the machinery (refer to dimensional diagrams or visual representation of parts).Remote Reset Option:The remote reset option includes an integrated electric solenoid that enables resetting of a tripped unit from a remote location. Available in 115 VAC or 24 VDC configurations.
