2’NPT Base Welded Pig Signaller

DescriptionThe 2’NPT Base Welded Pig Signaller is used to determine whether the pig passes or arrives. It is usually placed at the sending end and receiving end of the pig. And it also at the key position on the pipeline.Installation Steps:pig signaller install on the pipe (The Pipe W.T. is 2-20mm or 10-30mm) matching with Rc2 Thread-o-let (Thread-o-let’s high is 50mm).Make a hole (The Holes Diameter is 40mm) in the top of the pipe.Weld the Thread-o-let to the hole.Measure the distance from the top of the Thread-o-let to the inner wall of the pipe (This distance right here is C) after the pedestal cools.Wrap sealant tapes around on the Thread-o-let of the pig signaler. Next, install the pig signaller on the pipe.Measure the distance from the top of the Thread-o-let to the top of the pig signaller main body (This distance right here is B) after installed.Adjusting Method:Measure the distance from locating ring bottom to the top of the pig signaler main body (This distance right here is A).Rotating plug body to make sure the A = 157mm – B – C. For example: B = 87 mm, C= 59 mm, thus A = 11 mm.Adjust flag’s orientation: Open the transverse-screw, then rotating the head of pig signaler, finally close the transverse-screw.Notice:The A value range is 0mm – 20mmWhen the A > 20mm , it means the pig signaler doesn’t apply to the sum of the pedestal’s high and the pipe wall thickness. If -10mm < A < 0mm , remove the plug body and extend the spherical contactor to 10mm, therefore the A ‘s calculation is A = 167mm – B – C.Warning:The higher thread of the pig signaler is reserved for the Remove-movement with pressure of plug body. Do not damage the higher thread of the pig signaler when use pipe tongs installing.
