Since no two rooms are identical, midrange directivity can be adjusted using three exchangeable Directivity Control Rings (DCRs). This provides the ability to optimize the Concentro S Loudspeakers for the listening space. They range from more Direct (often preferred for nearfield) to more Diffuse (often preferred for farther listening positions). A patented technology uses exchangeable DCRs (Directivity Control Ring) to tailor the directional characteristics in the mid-frequency range to conditions in the listening area. The different DCRs (three aluminum DCRs are included as standard) are used to influence the relationship between direct and diffuse sound in the listening area.Crystal Membrane DriverEngineered for Low Distortion. Based on ELAC’s Aluminum-Sandwich AS Technology.
